What does parish registration mean?
Registering in a parish is the expression of your intention to participate in the life of the parish community. It should indicate willingness to:
1. worship regularly with the parish community;
2. participate in the ministry of the parish to bring Christ to other people;
3. support the parish program financially; and
4. take an active part in parish activities.

My Own Church Registration:
Here at St. Alphonsus Parish, we use a great service called “My Own Church,” which allows you to update your parishioner information at any time and tracks your giving history. We invite you to watch the video below by ParishSOFT to learn more about My Own Church and how to register. Here are some of the steps for you:
1. After opening My Own Church, select “St. Alphonsus Parish, New Orleans” as your organization.
2. After you register, you will be sent a temporary password to access your account and create a new password.
3. Please enter your information as completely and accurately as possible. We need the Family page filled out as well as a Member page for each member of your household. The more complete our information is, the better we can serve your needs.
